Man unconscious in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, 'not crime victim'

Police investigating the discovery of an unconscious man in Cardiff say he is not the victim of a crime.

Officers from the South Wales force cordoned off an area at Sophia Gardens on Saturday.

It followed the discovery of an unconscious 24-year-old man in a car park at about 02:52 GMT.

He was taken to the University Hospital of Wales and police appealed for information, but they say he has recovered and no offence was committed.
