Llanhilleth missing man, David Snook, 76, found in garden

David Snook David Snook had been missing since Boxing Day

A 76-year-old man who had been missing from his home in Blaenau Gwent since Boxing Day has been found and taken to hospital suffering from exposure.

Gwent Police search teams and the force helicopter had been out since David Snook was last seen at about 13:00 GMT in Hafodarthen Road, Llanhilleth.

Police were concerned as Mr Snook was known to be without a coat in cold and wet weather.

But after an overnight search he was found in a local garden, officers said.

Gwent Police said: " Mr Snook who was reported missing from his home in Llanhilleth on December 26th was discovered by search officers who found him in a garden in Llanhilleth at approximately 11:00 today.

"When found he was conscious but suffering from the effects of exposure.

"His family have been informed and Mr Snook is now being taken to hospital to be treated."
