Welsh St Donats barn blaze tackled by three fire crews

Firefighters tackled a barn blaze at Welsh St Donats in the Vale of Glamorgan involving 200 tonnes of hay.

Three fire engines from Barry, Cowbridge and Pontyclun along with two water bowsers were called to the barn store at about 09:45 GMT on Sunday.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the structure was "well alight".

Livestock had been removed from the barn as crews headed to the scene, a fire service spokesperson said.
