A woman in her 60s injured after two-car crash in Wick

A woman has been cut free from her car and taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash.

The woman, believed to be in her 60s, suffered chest and stomach injuries in the incident which happened on Ewenny Road in Wick, Vale of Glamorgan, shortly after 09:00 BST on Friday.

She was taken to the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

Two adults and two children travelling in the other car received minor injuries and treated were at the scene.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said two rapid response vehicles and an ambulance attended.
