Alfie Sullock death: Michael Pearce remanded over baby's murder

A 32-year-old man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a six-week-old baby.

Michael Pearce, of Nelson in Caerphilly county, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday and spoke only to confirm his name.

Alfie Sullock, from Fairwater, Cardiff, died at the University Hospital of Wales in the city on 20 August.

Mr Pearce was originally charged with assault but later charged with murder The case was adjourned until November.
