Royal Mail in Llantrisant creates 280 seasonal jobs at sorting office

Around 280 jobs will be created by Royal Mail at a temporary parcel sorting centre in Rhondda Cynon Taf to help deal with demand over Christmas.

The office in Llantrisant is due to open in November.

The sorting centre is one of 10 which are being opened across the UK this Christmas, the third consecutive year they have been opened.

The new recruits will be among 21,000 seasonal workers hired by Royal Mail to help sort the Christmas post.
