£6m Lottery jackpot unclaimed in Rhondda Cynon Taf
The search is on for a £6m lottery jackpot winner in the south Wales valleys who has yet to claim the prize.
The rollover jackpot of £6,053,028 was won by a ticket bought in Rhondda Cynon Taf on 29 June.
The National Lottery says the winner has until Boxing Day to collect their money or it will go into the good causes fund.
Last year a prize of £6,392,389 remained unclaimed for over three months in north west Wales.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We're desperate to find this mystery jackpot ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life.
"We're urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.
"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."
In December an even larger prize was claimed three months late when someone came forward with a winning ticket bought in Anglesey or Gwynedd in September.
Under National Lottery rules ticket holders have to claim their winnings within six months of the draw taking place.
