Brynglas tunnel, Newport, eastbound reopens after crash

One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on the M4 during Thursday morning's rush hour.
The section of road was temporarily closed on the eastbound carriageway at the Brynglas tunnel at Newport after a car crashed with a lorry between junctions 26 and 25.
Fire crews from Malpas and Maindee were called at 07:23 BST and released the injured person, who was trapped in their car.
Tailbacks stretched to junction 28.
The Brynglas tunnel is a key section of the road network in south Wales.
It has been the scene of a number of previous accidents leading to major traffic holdups in recent years.
