M4 near Cardiff reopens after overturned car removed

The M4 motorway near Cardiff has reopened after a car overturned.

It had forced the emergency services to shut both carriageways after the incident at about 12:40 BST on Saturday.

The driver had to be cut free by firefighters and was airlifted to hospital following the crash near junction 33 at Cardiff West.

The stretch of motorway was shut while emergency crews worked to recover the vehicle.
