A man who died after a collision with a bus has been described by his family as "happy-go-lucky" without a bad word to say about anyone.

Clive Davies, 69, from Llanharry, had been walking near the bus terminus at Talbot Green, near Llantrisant, at around 14:15 BST on Saturday.

South Wales Police say the bus was leaving the terminus at the time.

Witnesses, or those who offered to help at the scene, are asked to contact the roads policing unit at Cardiff on 101.

Paying tribute to her brother, Kay Davies said: "Clive was a happy-go-lucky man who never had a bad word to say about anyone.

"He always had a story to tell and he was liked and respected by everyone in the village."
