Man's body found in water opposite Undy police station

The death of a man whose body was found in water opposite a police station in Monmouthshire is being treated by Gwent Police as unexplained.

Officers say the body was discovered in a body of water known as a reen in Undy after they were alerted by a member of public at about 10:00 GMT on Saturday.

A spokesman for the force said the man's death did not appear to be suspicious.

Next-of-kin are being informed.
