Chepstow house fire: Firefighters return to scene

Firefighters had to return to a terraced house in Monmouthshire after an earlier blaze reignited.

Two people were taken to hospital as a precaution following the original fire at Caird Street, Chepstow.

Firefighters said the alarm was raised shortly before 05:50 GMT and three fire crews attended the scene.

The incident was declared over at 07:10 GMT but crews returned to the scene at 10:45 GMT after it was noticed the fire had reignited.

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the property appeared to be badly damaged.
