A 24-year-old man who has been missing from his home since Sunday may have been hitch-hiking, Gwent Police say.

Officers have appealed for information to help find Kyle Vaughan, from Newbridge in Caerphilly county.

They have received information he might have been hitching a lift on the A467 northbound between Risca and Crosskeys, between 22:35 and 00:30 GMT on Sunday.

Mr Vaughan has a distinctive barcode tattoo on his left forearm and wears a gold chain with a cross.

He is described as 5ft 8in (1.73m), of slim build, with short dark hair and brown eyes.

Gwent Police asked for anyone with information to call the force on 101.
