M4 lorry crash: Witness appeal after Tewkesbury man, 42, dies

A man has died in hospital after a crash between a lorry and several cars, which blocked the M4 between Cardiff and Newport on Saturday.

The man, 42, from Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, was taken to hospital with critical injuries on Saturday.

The collision occurred at about 06:07 GMT on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 29 and 30.

Another injured man is in a stable condition in hospital. Gwent Police have appealed for witnesses.

The 17.5 tonne lorry left the carriageway in the crash, which closed the eastbound section for a time.

Gwent Police asked for witnesses to call police on 101.
