Subway shop crash: One hurt as car crashes through window

Car crashes through Subway shop window in Aberdare The woman is thought to have escaped serious injury in the crash

A woman has been injured after a car crashed through a sandwich shop window in Aberdare.

South Wales Police say the woman was inside a branch of Subway when the car drove through the window just before 15:30 GMT on Thursday.

She was taken to hospital for a check up but her injuries are not thought to be serious.

A police spokesman said three other vehicles were damaged in the incident, thought to have been an accident.
