A man found dead at a house in a seaside town has been named as Paul Trevelyan.

The 50-year-old, from Nottage in Porthcawl, was found at 00:20 BST on Sunday.

A 23-year-old man, who is in hospital, has been arrested on suspicion of murder but officers are currently unable to interview him.

South Wales Police have appealed for witnesses to call them on 0656 306099 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police were called to the property following an incident on Sunday.

The investigation is ongoing and a crime scene is being preserved at the location.
