Cwmbran death: Jeremy Vaughan murder suspect released
Jeremy Vaughan's body was found at Maendy Way, Pontnewydd, Cwmbran
A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder in Cwmbran has been released without charge, say Gwent Police.
Jeremy Vaughan's body was found in Maendy Way, Pontnewydd, after police were called at about 10:00 BST on Friday.
Detectives had been given more time to question the man, and they released him on Sunday.
Police are yet to establish the exact cause of death after a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive.
Mr Vaughan, 42, of no fixed address, had recently been living in the Newport area.
Further tests will be carried out on the body to establish the cause of death.
Police have renewed their appeal to anyone with information to call 101.
They are especially interested in speaking to people who might have had contact or seen Mr Vaughan in the last month.
