Cwmbran: man's body found in canal at retail park

Gwent Police are investigating the discovery of a body of a man in Cwmbran.

The body was found in a canal close to the Cwmbran Retail Park on Saturday morning.

Police were called at around 09:25 BST with fire and ambulance services also in attendance. Officers were still at the scene in the afternoon.

It is thought the body was discovered by a member of staff arriving for work at a nearby store.
