Bleddyn King denies murder of David Evans in Pentyrch

A teenager has pleaded not guilty to murdering a man whose body was found in his fire-damaged home.

David Evans, 63, was discovered dead by firefighters in the village of Pentyrch, on the outskirts of Cardiff in January.

Bleddyn King, 19, of Abercynon, Rhondda Cynon Taf, denied murder in a brief hearing at Cardiff Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody and will stand trial at Cardiff Crown Court on 3 October.
