A pedestrian is in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a collision with a single-decker bus in Llandaff, Cardiff.

The 66-year-old suffered serious leg injuries following Tuesday's incident at approximately 19:45 BST.

The A4119 Cardiff Road was closed in both directions between the A48 Western Avenue and A4054 Bridge Road junction.

South Wales Police said the incident was under investigation and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
