Journalist held in Libya as Welsh mistaken for Hebrew

A journalist held captive in Libya says Welsh words written on his medical supplies were partly the cause of his and a colleague's ordeal.

Gareth Montgomery-Johnson, from Carmarthen, says he was assumed to be an Israeli spy after militia mistook the Welsh for Hebrew.

He is home after being held hostage for almost a month.
