Elderly man dies after Llanaelhaearn outbuilding fire

An elderly man has died after a fire in a garden outbuilding in Gwynedd.

Fire crews and North Wales Police were called to Bryn Ffynnon Terrace, Llanaelhaearn, shortly before 15:00 BST on Thursday after a gas cylinder caught fire.

The body of a man in his 70s was found at the scene.

Insp Robert Rands said: "At this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious and the North West Wales coroner will be informed."
