Remains found hanging from a tree in thick undergrowth at a Gwynedd golf club were identified by DNA profiling as those of a Northamptonshire woman, an inquest has heard.

The decomposed body of Naomi Shilton, 28, from Wellingborough, was found at St Deiniol club, Bangor by a woman walking her dogs last April.

A DNA profile matched her mother's, the inquest at Llangefni, Anglesey heard.

A narrative conclusion that Miss Shilton killed herself was recorded.

Coroner Dewi Pritchard Jones said "The question 'why' isn't a matter for any inquest."

The inquest heard evidence that Miss Shilton had hanged herself.
