Aberffraw beach The coastguard and rescue helicopter attended the incident at Aberffraw beach

A toddler was rescued from the sea off an Anglesey beach after wandering into the water alone.

The girl pulled from the water by a member of the public after being spotted in the sea at Aberffraw on Sunday afternoon.

She was given CPR before being airlifted to hospital in Bangor.

It is thought the girl went into the sea while her parents were not looking. The coastguard said she was recovering.
