Two people airlifted to hospital from Snowdon

Two people were rescued from Snowdon by an RAF Sea King helicopter crew after separate incidents within the space of an hour.

A woman in her 40s was taken ill on the summit and a walker suffered a suspected broken ankle.

The pair were taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital in Bangor on Saturday afternoon by the rescuers from RAF Valley on Anglesey.
