Walker, 77, rescued after spending night on mountain
A 77-year-old walker has been rescued after lying injured on a mountainside overnight.
The pensioner had fallen and hurt his chest on Carnedd Llewelyn, a peak above the Ogwen Valley.
He was picked up by an RAF Sea King helicopter and flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor at around 14:00 BST on Thursday.
The man's mobile phone battery had run out and his rescuers said he was fortunate it had been a warm night.
