A small brick-built garage in Snowdonia National Park has been put on the market for £38,500.

The compact structure measuring just 19ft by 10ft (6x3m) is in a woodland setting near a stream in Lledr Valley, three miles (5km) from Betws-y-Coed.

Estate agent Iwan Williams said the owner thought the detached building would interest salmon fisherman and had already attracted "a few inquiries".

It comes with a small parcel of land and a hard standing area for a caravan.

Mr Williams said: "There are a fisherman who visit the area and in the past there were fishermen's huts along the river bank although you don't tend to see them much now.

"The owner thinks the garage will be of interest to salmon fishermen in the area and they could also use the hard standing area to park a caravan or motor home instead of staying at a hotel.

"We've had quite a few inquiries so far."
