The A55 on Anglesey has reopened after an overturned lorry brought traffic delays near the Britannia Bridge.

The incident happened before the Tuesday morning rush hour and led to the closure of the westbound section between junction 9 (A487 Treborth) and junction 8A (A5 Holyhead Road).

A crane has removed the lorry, which was reportedly carrying chickens, from the slip road at junction 8.

Traffic in the area has now returned to normal.
