Anthony Smith and Tracey Jones guilty of Abergele pub death
A man has been found guilty of murdering a customer at a pub managed by his girlfriend.
Anthony Smith, 40, of Abergele, Conwy, murdered Sam Blackledge, 54, who died after being punched outside the Pen y Bont pub in the town last July.
His partner, Tracey Jones, 47, the pub manager, was convicted of manslaughter by the jury at Caernarfon Crown Court.
Both defendants were also found guilty of perverting the course of justice and will be sentenced on 10 February.
The court heard they asked witnesses to hide the fact Mr Blackledge had been injured after being assaulted.
Sentencing was adjourned for a report to be prepared on Jones, who was cleared of an alternative charge of murder.
Smith will be sentenced on the same day.
Both defendants were remanded in custody.
