Investigation into death of Gareth Evans at Black Rock beach

The north west Wales coroner has begun an investigation into the death of a man whose body was found on a beach in Gwynedd.

Gareth Evans, 64, from Llanbedr, was found at Black Rock sands near Porthmadog last Friday.

He had been missing from the Barmouth, in Gwynedd, since Thursday.

North Wales Police said an investigation into Mr Evans' death is continuing.
