Man rescued from bungalow fire in Amlwch

A man has been taken to hospital after being rescued from a home fire on Anglesey.

The 53-year-old was rescued by firefighters from a bedroom at a sheltered bungalow in Amlwch at 03:30 GMT.

He was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation before being taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd.

The property in Madryn Dysw was smoke damaged and North Wales Fire and Rescue are investigating the cause.
