Llandudno death: Man released on bail in burglary inquiry

A man who was arrested on suspicion of burglary at a house in which a woman collapsed and later died has been bailed.

Meanwhile, an inquest has been opened into the death of Carole Anne Wall, 58, who was taken to hospital after the suspected break-in in Llandudno, Conwy.

She died within hours.

A provisional cause of death has shown she died following a "cardiac event" in the early hours of Monday morning.

Her death followed police reports of a disturbance at her home in St David's Road at 23:30 BST on Sunday.

A 36-year-old man arrested on suspicion of burglary has been bailed, said North Wales Police.

North Wales coroner John Gittins adjourned the inquest to a date to be fixed.

Police conducted house-to-house inquiries in the area on Monday and Ms Wall's next of kin are being supported by police family liaison officers.
