Church Street, Caernarfon: Crews called to kitchen fire

Firefighters have tackled a blaze in a kitchen at a house in Caernarfon.

Two people were given precautionary check-ups by paramedics at the scene in Church Street but they were not taken to hospital.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service said the alarm was raised shortly after 09:50 BST on Saturday and two crews from Caernarfon were sent to the incident.

The fire was confined to the cooker hob and the kitchen received smoke damage.

Fire crews left the scene shortly after 10:20 BST.
