Climber hurt in fall off Llanberis Pass

A climber has been airlifted to hospital after slipping 30ft (9m) on a Snowdonia mountainside.

The 61-year-old woman was winched aboard an RAF Sea King helicopter from Valley with a shoulder injury.

The incident happened off the Llanberis Pass on Saturday evening.

The woman was flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital at Bangor.
