Two kayakers have been pulled from the sea near Llandudno and one of them taken to hospital suffering from hypothermia.

The RNLI said the kayakers, from Penrhyn Bay, got into trouble off Little Orme headland at Penrhyn Bay on Monday.

Llandudno's inshore lifeboat crew rescued them after the alarm was raised about 19:30 BST.

They had been spotted in the water, shouting for help, by a local resident.
