Penygroes robbery: Arrest after raid on bookmakers

An arrest has been made following a robbery at a Gwynedd bookmaker's.

North Wales Police said that a man holding something similar to a baseball bat and wearing a grey hooded top had entered the shop in Penygroes, near Caernarfon.

He made off on foot and nobody was hurt following the robbery, which happened n Snowdon Street at about 14:00 BST on Friday.

Police said on Saturday that a 42-year-old man had been arrested.
