Holyhead Travelodge fire: Woman and man arrested

Two people have been arrested have been made after a fire at an Anglesey hotel.

North Wales Police said patrolling officers saw a fire at the Travelodge on Cleveland Avenue, Holyhead, at about 00:50 BST on Saturday.

The two were arrested on suspicion of causing arson.

Minor damage was caused to the premises and nobody was hurt, a police spokesman said. North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are carrying out a joint investigation.
