Holyhead attack: Appeal over man's 'nasty' assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 29-year-old man was attacked outside a pub in Holyhead on Anglesey.

Two men aged 20 and 24 have been arrested following the assault outside the Albert Vaults pub at about 23:20 GMT on Tuesday. They remain in custody.

PC Howell Owens said the attack was "particularly nasty" and that the victim is in hospital, where he needs facial surgery.

The officer appealed for anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
