A547 reopens near Gwrych Castle, Conwy, after road crash

A main road in Conwy was closed in both directions after a collision between a council lorry and a motorcycle.

North Wales Police say the motorcyclist was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd with serious but not life threatening injuries.

The A547 has reopened after being shut near Gwrych Castle at 07:40 GMT.

Traffic was affected between Abergele and Llanddulas.
