CCTV of Land Rover thief at Llandudno Junction dealer
CCTV footage of a thief taking a 4x4 worth £6,000 from a car dealership has been released.
The man in hi-visibility clothing is seen driving the Land Rover Freelander from the Llandudno Junction Car Centre, Conwy, on Wednesday 7 November.
He walked around the garage before getting into the vehicle, which had keys in the ignition, and driving off.
Manager Kevin Jones has offered a £500 reward for information leading to a conviction.
"It's never happened before," he said.
"They'll probably clone the car or sell it for bits."
North Wales Police are investigating the disappearance of the silver-coloured vehicle at 13:17 GMT.
"We had just had a delivery of ten cars off a transporter. The guy walked into our yard, got into one of the Freelanders and drove off," Mr Jones said.
"It's very important we get this car back.
"We are offering a £500 reward for information leading to the conviction of the thief."
The second-hand car's registration plate is SW05 NVE.
Mr Jones believes the thief may have had an accomplice because a red, Berlingo-type van was spotted driving away shortly before the alleged thief did.
The man who drove off in the Land Rover was described as around 5ft 10in (1.78m) to 6ft (1.83m) tall with a medium build and in his 20s.
Anyone with information should call 101.
