Bala flat death: Man arrested after body found

A 23-year-old man has been arrested after the body of a man was found at a flat in Gwynedd.

The discovery was made at a property in Bala at 17:40 GMT on Saturday.

North Wales Police said the death was being treated as suspicious at present but that the investigation was still in its early stages.

Officers are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the force by dialling 101.

Supt Andy Jenks-Gilbert, from North Wales Police, said: "At approximately 5:40pm on Saturday 10th November police were called to an address in Bala where the body of a man was found in a flat.

"The death is being treated as suspicious at this time.

"A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the police investigation, which is in its early stages."
