Fire at Mostyn Street hotel, Llandudno, blamed on arson

A fire at a derelict hotel in Llandudno, Conwy county, was started deliberately, says North Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

Firefighters were called to the property in Mostyn Street at about 02:15 BST on Saturday.

Three fire crews - two from Llandudno and one from Conwy - attended the incident.

A fire service spokeswoman said the blaze was arson and was confined to one room on the ground floor.
