Snowdon walker flown to hospital from summit

A walker has been flown to hospital after falling and hurting his head on Snowdon.

The man, in the forties, was first taken to the summit cafe on the mountain.

The RAF helicopter from Valley on Anglesey had to wait until an area could be cleared of some of the hundreds of people out on the mountain before the man was winched aboard.

The injured walker was taken to hospital in Bangor.
