An air ambulance team and other paramedics have been called to a hillside above Llanddulas, Conwy, after reports of a fallen paraglider.

The emergency teams arrived at the scene close to Tan yr Ogo, near Gwrych Castle, at about 15:30 BST on Saturday.

It is understood that the area is a popular spot for hang gliding and paragliding.

An ambulance service spokesperson said details about the paraglider's condition were still being established.

The paraglider has been airlifted to Glan Clwyd hospital at Bodelwyddan.
