Tributes paid to mother and son found dead at Tremadog

Police were called to a house near Tremadog on Friday night

Tributes have been paid to a mother and her two-year-old son found dead in their Gwynedd home.

The bodies of Suzanne Jones, 34, and her son William, who had two sisters, were discovered at a house near Tremadog, on Friday evening.

North Wales Police have charged David Wyn Jones, 42, with murdering his wife and son and he will appear at Caernarfon Crown Court on Monday.

Eileen Holt, mother of Mrs Jones, said "We will all miss Sue and Wil so much."

She added: "Sue was a fantastic mum and daughter and Wil was a lovely little boy who will be sadly missed by us and his sisters.

"We are now concentrating on looking after our granddaughters and ask that our privacy is respected."

Detectives have said they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the deaths.

Det Ch Supt Neill Anderson said: "Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of Suzanne and William at this very difficult time.

"The family members are being supported by specially trained officers and I would ask that their privacy is respected."
