Rhyl flood defence proposals on show

Plans for the latest phase of flood defence work in west Rhyl are going on display at the town's harbour building.

Two phases of work have already been carried out on the £2.6m scheme, which aims to reduce the risk of flooding to 2,000 properties.

The third phase will involve work between Sydenham Avenue and the Drift Park area.

The proposals are on view at the harbour building from 16.00 BST and 20.00 BST on Tuesday and 08.00 BST and 13.00 BST on Wednesday.

Council officers will be present to answer questions.

The east side of the Denbighshire town saw 150 homes swamped by waves in December storms.
