Arrests after woman hurt in fire at Towyn, near Rhyl

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis following a house fire in Towyn, near Rhyl, early on Wednesday.

Police found more than 20 plants and associated paraphernalia following the fire in Bryn Road at 02:20 BST.

A woman managed to escape the blaze and was taken to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation after the fire.

The two men, aged 28 and 49, are in police custody at St Asaph. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
