Two men have been taken to hospital following a fire in a garage next to a row of bungalows.

Fire crews were called to the blaze at Henllan, near Denbigh, at 17:23 GMT on Monday.

A man in his 40s suffered burns to his hand while another man, in his 60s, was treated for shock at the scene before being taken to hospital as a precaution.

The two men were in separate properties adjoining the garage.

Their partners were unharmed in the incident.

Appliances from St Asaph, Ruthin and Rhyl attended the fire, which was brought under control just after 19:00 GMT.

The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
