Wrexham van crash leaves two passengers seriously injured

Two passengers have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a van is thought to have left the road and overturned in Wrexham.

North Wales Police said Cefn Road was closed for more than four hours after the crash involving a white Ford Transit at about 21:00 GMT on Thursday.

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle and dangerous driving.

Police are appealing for information about the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about it is asked to contact the road policing unit at Deeside on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
