Carrog fire investigation after body of woman, 93, found

An investigation is under way following the discovery of a 93-year-old woman's body after a fire in Denbighshire.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in a bungalow at Carrog near Corwen at 15:30 GMT on Thursday.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are investigating with North Wales Police.

The fire service said: "Crews from Llangollen used two sets of breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to enter the property. Sadly, the body of a 93 year old female was found."
